Choosing to go on a GSC Volunteer Vacation is quick and easy!
Just decide when to go based on our GSC Volunteer Vacation weekly start dates. Then go to Apply Now and submit your personal information along with a MyGSC username and password and select your vacation’s start date and duration. You will then be asked to download a Volunteer Vacation Application Form to be mailed back to the GSC office. On this application, you will specify if you would like teach at a school, work at an orphanage or participate in the ‘Thai Buddhism and Culture Week’(for those enrolled in minimum 3-week Volunteer Vacation). Then just pay a $300 volunteer vacation deposit online or mail a personal check or money order the GSC office in San Francisco. Once you have completed these steps, an online MyGSC account will be created for you where you can access helpful information to prepare you to go on your Global Service Corps Volunteer Vacation!
GSC recommends that you begin the enrollment process for Volunteer Vacations at least 75 days prior to your volunteer vacation start date. Your final payment and supporting documents must be received in the GSC office no later than 45 days prior to the start of your volunteer vacation.
